Lazy Cake

Description

The lazy cake recipe is below, it is so easy and so good, a no-bake dream 💭. What makes it even better is the malted powder, but if you don’t have any that shouldn’t stop you, it’s still amazing without.

Lazy Cake

Servings 10 Slices
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 10 minutes
Total Time 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 170 g Unsalted Butter
  • 397 g Sweetened Condensed Milk (1 can)
  • 100 g Cocoa Powder (1 cup)
  • 50 g Malt Powder I used Holricks (Optional)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 400 g Marie Biscuits (or similar biscuits)

Instructions

  • Melt the butter, add the condensed milk, sift the cocoa, add the malt powder (optional), vanilla and salt.
  • Whisk it all together and add the crushed biscuits. I like a lot of biscuits in mine, you can use less if you like.
  • Make 2 logs using baking paper. Roll them very tightly and freeze for 4 hours at least (put the rolls in a bag and seal it).
  • You can keep them in the freezer for up to 6 months, but who are we kidding they’ll be gone in no time. Sahtein!
