Morning Porridge

Description

I make this morning porridge whenever I feel my body needs extra nourishment. It is made of oats, milled flaxseeds, and chia seeds, my go to fruits, and my one true love, cinnamon. It is warm, comforting, and full of fiber! The best part is that it comes together in 10 minutes tops. Double or triple the recipe as needed.

Morning Porridge

Total Time 10 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tsp Rolled Oats
  • 2 tsp Milled Flaxseeds
  • 2 tsp Chia Seeds
  • 1 tsp Peanut Butter (or any nut butter of your choice)
  • 1 tbsp Frozen Blueberries (You can use fresh but frozen is so convinient for me)
  • ¼ Banana
  • 2 pinches Cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 180 ml Water

Instructions
 

  • In a little saucepan, add all the ingredients, including the water.
  • Cook on high heat for 6 minutes while mixing and mashing the bananas.
  • Enjoy warm. You can top with more fruits, some nuts, and some honey if you like.
