Hello easy lunch idea for kids and kids at heart ๐: cornflake breaded chicken, of course baked because we almost never fry.
Corn Flake Breaded Chicken
Ingredients
- 500 g chicken breast, halved into thin breasts or cut into strips
- 0.5 cup flour approximately
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp milk
- 0.5 tbsp sweet paprika
- 0.25 tbsp garlic powder
- 0.25 tbsp salt
- Dash of white pepper
- Cup of crushed cornflakes
Instructions
- Cup of crushed cornflakes
- Whisk the egg with the milk, the salt and spices.
- Coat the chicken with the flour, then egg, then cornflakes.
- Bake in a preheated oven for 40 minutes at 180 degrees C (for breasts), or less if youโre making strips. You could also use an air fryer for this. Served here for a grownup with a salad and honey mustard sauce (Dijon + honey + paprika)
