Description
Waffles are made for weekends, when the mornings are slower and the coffee tastes better. The waffle batter comes together in minutes and they cook relatively quickly. Serve them with some maple syrup, a little extra butter (weekends are supposed to be extra), and fresh berries on the side.

My Go-To Waffle
Ingredients
- 250 g All Purpose Flour Sifted
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 50 g Sugar (¼ cup)
- ¼ tsp Sea Salt
- 300 ml Milk
- 2 large Eggs
- 30 g Melted Butter (You can sub with 30 ml oil)
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Melt the butter in the microwave and add it to a large bowl. Add the sugar, eggs, vanilla, and milk. Whisk them together. Add the sifted flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk everything together once again, slowly at first but vigorously after until the batter comes together and you get rid of all the lumps.
- Bake the waffles in a waffle maker, you will need about half a cup of batter for each waffle. Serve hot with maple syrup and berries.
