Melt the chocolate and the butter over a water bath (Bain Marie) while mixing gently. Make sure the water does not touch the other side of your bowl. Set aside when done.2- Using a mixer, beat the soft brown sugar and egg together until they are pale mixture with a ribbon consistency.
Add the vanilla and the chocolate mix and fold in with a spatula.
Finally pour the flour, baking powder and salt through a sieve and fold in.
Wrap and chill the dough for 2-3 hours at least or overnight. The longer you chill the easier it is to handle.
Using 2 teaspoons, spoon out the dough and place on a baking tray lined with paper. Keep 6 cm between each ball so they don’t flow into each other. Finally sprinkle with sea salt flakes and bake in a preheated oven at 180° C for 6-8 minutes. For larger cookies bake for longer of course and you can always bake 1 cookie first to figure out the right timing for you. Enjoy ❤️❤️❤️
