Preheat the oven to 180C. In a large bowl, mash the bananas then add the oats, almond butter, vanilla and salt.
Let the dough rest for 10 minutes and then spread the dough using 2 spoons on your baking tray lined with baking paper. Flatten the cookies with the back of your spoon. I made 18 cookies with this amount.
Add the chocolate pieces, pressing them onto the dough. Bake the cookies for about 15 minutes, you will know they are cooked when they have browned slightly on the bottom.
